Netwise London Central (NLC) is a private, bespoke data centre facility designed, built and operated by Netwise, located in Bermondsey.
The datacentre was built in 2015 and launched in 2016. The facility has gone on to earn an elite position in London’s data centre landscape, providing world-class turnkey colocation services to clients all around the world.
The site boasts one of London’s most impressive efficiency ratings, with a PUE of just 1.12 – one of the lowest in Europe. Further to this, site energy is purchased exclusively from 100% renewable sources, resulting in one of the greenest colocation facilities in the UK.
As well as providing industry-leading colocation and related data centre services, the 11,000ft2 facility is home to a range of amenities that supplement core services, including build rooms, shower facilities, a customer lounge and kitchen, and a fully serviced disaster recovery suite.
NLC forms part of Netwise’s metro network, which spans many key sites in London. The site has on-net access to a wide array of high-performance connectivity services, as well as extremely low latency links to core nodes such as Telehouse Docklands, Equinix LD8, and City Lifeline.
The turnkey nature of the services offered by Netwise within their London Central data centre allow for an extremely flexible ‘turn up and install’ approach, with racks, PDUs, connectivity, IPs and support all available under one service umbrella.
